Risking both blood and the consequences of a less manly look, Dan Rollman set a new universal record by shaving off his full mustache in just 42.18 seconds. Rollman lathered up before the timing began, and used a Gillette Mach3 to to take off the mustache.

Rollman performed the record on November 24, 2008 at the World Record Appreciation Society's first-ever event. It was held at Asia Roma, a karaoke bar in New York City. Corey Henderson and Emily Wilson timed and witnessed the feat.
