Most Images Of Fish Sandwiches Looked At In One Minute

60 fish sandwiches

Todd Lamb wins back the title in a category he originally created by looking at 60 images of fish sandwiches in one minute, a new world record. His performace broke the previous record of 57 held by 91X Morning Show radio DJ Carlos Montoya.

Lamb was aided by his assistant Marcus Livesay, who prepared by donning surgical gloves and chugging a Jolt. The feat was achieved at a World Record Appreciation Society event on February 11, 2009 in New York City. Corey Henderson was on hand to document and count the images.

Though this was a very impressive performance, I vehemently believe it isn't a record. In naming the Athens records, Farber said Phelps got "first place, 4x100 Individual Medley." Sadly, that's incorrect. If you go on Wikipedia, you'll see it's actually the 4x100 Medley Relay. Deny!

I, on the other hand, consider his slight misspeaking not a sizable enough error to warrant denial. It seems clear to me that he knew the correct answer and simply jumbled the words.

Dan, I respectfully request that you reconsider your call on this one. Why is Chris being denied certification of this outstanding performance based on a trivial error when you and the URDB "powers that be" can't even correctly spell the name of the record? Read it slowly and eat your crow. Brian

Brian. Nicely noted. I have egg all over my face. Time to go fire the copy editor. That said, I'd still vote to deny the record.

Firstly, I would like to thank my supporters in these here comments. I will, as attempted record holder in a swimming trivia related category, concede my mistake upon review of the film, and promise to claim this record in under 30 seconds at the next URDB event. Remember to eat your vitamins, swimmaniacs!
