Paul achieved the feat at a New Year's Eve party in Grand Forks, North Dakota on December 31, 2008. Samantha Gallagher was present as a witness.

Fastest Time Solving Mini Rubik's Cube While Sleeping A Yo-Yo

Brendan Larrabee of Brookline, Massachusetts boldly sets a record by solving a Rubik's Cube while sleeping a yo-yo in just three minutes, 36.68 seconds. Timing began when Larrabee began sleeping the yo-yo, and finished when he brought it back up to his hand after solving the Cube.

The record was set on August 8, 2008 at the International Yo-Yo Open in New York City. Larrabee used a YoYoFactory eight8eight yo-yo and a mini 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube. Witnesses were Talia Ledner and Dan Rollman.
