Alec Dowell ate 15 hard boiled eggs in one hour, a new world record. The eggs were cooked and peeled ahead of time. Dowell stipulated that liquids and sauces were permitted in his record attempt.

He completed the feat on May 17, 2009 in Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada. Craig Morrison was present as a witness.
